Honolulu Zoo

By having the annual membership for $70, you would need (2.2 visits dollar wise) 3 visits to make this up. If you have little ones this is easy. I used to take them to the zoo monthly!
Sea Life Park

We love the Sea Lion show, bird aviary, dolphin show, feeding the turtles, and more. The kids and I have a blast coming here. You can spend half the day here easy!

We like to go on the weekend and the kids like to go to the science building and check out what the roll through town exhibit is. We watch a planetarium show and eat lunch on the benches near the science museum overlooking the great lawn and people watch. We really like going to the After Dark events as well when you can visit the museum nighttime. There are food trucks, craft activities, and entertainers usually.
Wet‘n’Wild Hawaii

Based on a family of 4 at the Kama‘aina admission: The Kama‘aina Day pass starts at $37.99-$47.99 online depending what day of the week you go. Let’s say you go on a Saturday. It would cost your family $191.96 for that visit. By having the annual membership for $244.96, you would need (1.2 visits dollar wise) 2 visits to make this up. This place is so much fun! Spend the whole day here! On the weekends they usually have a movie in the pool. Bring sunscreen!
Waimea Valley Park
Family Annual Pass - 2 adults and up to 6 children under 18, $80.

Based on a family of 4 at the Kama’aina admission: General Admission (13+) $10, Children (4-12) $6, 3 years and under are free. It would cost $32 per visit. By having the annual membership for $80, you would need (2.5 visits dollar wise) 3 visits to make this up. It’s really a nice walk to the waterfall. The park is very lush, and you get to see some Hawaiian cultural site exhibits, and the waterfall at the end. It’s good to go when they have Makahiki Festival, and you can see all the people compete in the games from different island nations from the Pacific.
Hawaii Children’s Discovery Center
The Family 2 - Annual plan for 4 family members is $300.

By having the annual membership for $300, you would need (7.5 visits dollar wise) 8 visits to make this up. If you have really little kids, like toddlers, then I can see you making this up fairly quickly. As our kids got bigger they found other places more fun to attend so we didn’t go as frequently as they grew out of it. It is a really cool, kids, education/career museum.
Honolulu Museum

If your family is into art and wants to visit all the time then that’s cool, but they have Family Sundays on the 3rd Sunday of the month with kid’s activities, entertainment, and you can walk the museum for free. We usually just go to that.

If you have a salt water aquarium, this is like the best place to get water for your tank. Just bring your 5 gallon buckets and load up the clean salt water. They run a pipe 3 miles out to the ocean! That alone is worth having this membership!
‘Iolani Palace

They also have Kama‘aina Sundays, on the 2nd Sundays of the month where you can go free with a State ID/License. We usually just do that. But please do visit the palace. It is full of Hawaii’s history and culture. Amazing place to see!

It’s a sight to see. So much history on the deck of the ship! This ship is a decorated veteran of 3 wars! WWII, the Korean War, and the Persian Gulf. Take the kids!
Honolulu Theatre for Youth
Family Membership - $25/month which includes 2 adult tickets and as many children in your immediate family up to age 17. If you buy the annual out right you will pay $275 and get a month free. Otherwise $300 a year at $25/month.

You can watch plays throughout the year! Live performances. They do about 9 shows a year! And you can go over and over again! That's one of the best memberships you can buy!
