Welcome to the Oahu Family Fun Blog! To start, here's a little history of how Oahu Family Fun started.

It was during 2021 while we were in the Covid Pandemic. We saw a lot of local mom and pops businesses shutting down. It was heartbreaking to watch. As the pandemic restrictions started to ease and people were allowed outside again with social distancing, we wanted to share what was open so families could take the kids out of the house and have fun while supporting the businesses to come back to life! From there we started our Instagram @oahufamilyfun where we shared our adventures and told everyone to go check out where we went or eat at the restaurant that we dined at. That followed by the website www.oahufamilyfun.com where we had resources to look up places and do activities, and now the Facebook group - Oahu Activities & Events where it's similar to our Instagram but had more grown up nightlife things to do as well.

It was a win/win situation as us promoting a business gained them a new customer, while a family made cherished memories together! That made us happy and was the goal of Oahu Family Fun! It's our community service to the public, and boy has it been an adventure meeting and hearing from locals and travelers from around the world! We have never charged a business to do any marketing for them, but we know they gain a lot of followers and customers through Oahu Family Fun! Thank you everyone for following and your support! It's because of your kind words that we still do this for free!
