Family Fun in San Diego in October

October is the best month to travel to San Diego with your family, especially if you have elementary school aged kids because the whole month most places and attractions, kids get in free with a qualifying paying adult! It's called "Kids Free San Diego" promotion for the whole month of October. What other city does that? Awesome! You save so much money on admission tickets where the money can be spent on food, more hotel days, more things to do and places to see, and souvenirs!
We did a lot of things: LegoLand, Sea World, San Diego Zoo Safari Park, a lot of the museums at the Balboa Park, the Maritime Museum, Trolley tour, Belmont Amusement Park and more! We did one day at Sea World, 2 days at LegoLand, 2 days at the Balboa Park Museums. It was a fun worthwhile trip! One of the best trips you can take with the kids to make memories and most affordable bang for the buck! We got some videos below if you want to see. San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Lots of animals to see. We rode in the jeep through the safari and got right up to the animals. Pretty cool! #sandiegozoosafaripark
Smoke Bubbles at LegoLand
Some might say LegoLand is better than Disneyland. Less crowd, less standing in line, fun roller coasters, cool interactive rides, nice playgrounds in every land, good food. Check out these smoke bubbles. We also did the waterpark, and the aquarium. It was an all day event and went back a second day cause we had so much fun and an extra day to do something. #legolandsandiego
Sea World Orca Encounter
Oh this was so much fun! If you sit in the first 10 rows at the Orca Encounter, you will get wet and the air is cold! Absolutely soaked! Sea World is a great place to take the kids! Lots of rides and they have a huge roller coaster! Lots of educational marine exhibits. Nice stuffies and tshirts to take home! I wish we did this one a second day too. #seaworldsandiego
